The skies have cleared and the winds are down. &nbsp;The skiers ride today but the snowboarders will take over the pipe on Saturday March 3rd for qualifiers and finals all in one day. &nbsp;It's going to be a great contest!&nbsp;</div>

<p>Good bye Quebec, Hello Mammoth! Katie had a great placing of 12th place at the Quebec World Cup in Stoneham resort. &nbsp;All the riders had some great runs in adverse weather. &nbsp;Now Katie is in Mammoth California for a Grand Prix with some of the best riders in the States. &nbsp;Check out her new blog up at the top for full details&gt;&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Winter Dew Tour is at a end and Katie has finished 10th overall in the contest today. &nbsp;It was a beautiful day with everyone riding really well. &nbsp;The top 5 girls will move on to finals tomorrow which will be aired live on NBC at 2pm. &nbsp;Katie did some personal bests today landing two tricks she hasn't landed in a contest so far. Next week will be a training week for Katie at Breckenridge before heading to Quebec for the World Cup.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Katie has arrived at Snowbasin in Utah which will be hosting the <a href="http://www.allisports.com/winter-dew-tour">Toyota Dew Tour Championships</a>. &nbsp;Katie says the Half Pipe is looking great being the longest in the world at 615ft long. &nbsp;She's feeling hot&nbsp;for the event and ready for the fierce competition. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Burton Canadian Open has ended and Katie placed 14th of 35. &nbsp;This event was landmarked by Queault Castellet landing a frontside 1080, making her the second women to ever land that trick. &nbsp;Katie will now be heading to Utah for the Toyota Dew Tour Championships. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The season has started and two contests are over. &nbsp;Katie had a mid field finish at the Grand&nbsp;<span>Prix</span>&nbsp;and Dew Tour but there are still lots of time and contests in the season. &nbsp;Back to training for Katie and some holiday action.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Check out a charity event being held in Toronto Canada called the Big Give for Look Good Feel Good, which is a charity&nbsp;intended for cancer fighters. &nbsp;Katie will be donating some items for the event and Alex Burgess and the Food Dudes will be catering the food. &nbsp;This will be a great event so check out the site <a href="http://dothebiggive.com/">http://dothebiggive.com/</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Walt Disney World is happening and Katie is enjoying it with her family. &nbsp;She in Florida right now enjoying some sun before the winter starts. &nbsp;He father is also celebrating a birthday and Disney is his favorite place to do that. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Katie is having a great time during the Cardrona Spring training camp that's happening for the first two weeks of October. She has been training hard with coach Roberto Marfia with FOCUS snowboarding. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Scott USA will be joing the list of Katie's sponsors for this upcoming season so Katie will be getting a great selection of goggles to protect her eyes against all the elements that winter can throw at her. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Cardrona spring camp is announced for October 3 - 16 and Katie and coach Roberto Marfia with FOCUS Elite will be participating. &nbsp;Katie is excited to get some time on soft snow before the 2011/2012 season starts in Colorado. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>2011/2011 Competition schedule is released and Katie will be at the Dew Tours and Canadian Nationals. This season Katie is going to focus more on training for the 2014 Olympic Games and less on the hectic traveling and competition schedule. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Katie is pleased to attend her cousin Emily Buttler's wedding where she will become Mrs Emily Russell Everett. &nbsp;Katie will be a part of the bridal party as a bridesmaid and is excited to see her cousin very happy. &nbsp;</p>

<p>US Open is schedules for the 10<sup>th</sup> of March.&nbsp; Katie will be qualifying on the 8<sup>th</sup> and she is happy to have her parents, brother, sister in law and nieces come down to Stratton Mountain Resort to watch her ride</p>

<p>At the Killington Dew Tour Stop Katie places 9<sup>th</sup> Overall in the Super Pipe event.&nbsp; It was a great placing after injury and against the best.&nbsp; She was happy to be back on snow to ride with her friends again.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Katie is invited to Killington Dew Tour, to ride with some of the best, just after heeling from her injury in December.</p>
